Have you ever wanted to just play with a product that you’ve purchased some time ago but just couldn’t figure out how you wanted to use it. I found my heart die that I purchased from SSS and wanted to use it. I didn’t want to use it in the traditional way, I wanted my card to more so make a statement. So I made this card for this month’s Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies challenge.
I made this card for my husband to give to his mom. She absolutely loved it!! The colors are her favorites and of course that was the reason I chose them. This is one card that I think she will really treasure.
I would love to know what you think about this project, please leave a comment below and join in the challenge over at Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies challenge.
Here’s a card that I made for one of my classes. I thought this card would be a great way to use stamps, punches and dies.
I’m entering this card into the following challenges:

I’ve decided to take a leap of faith and became a member of the Design Team for the ATC Challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. This is my first time making an ATC card and I’m looking forward to making many more. You may be wondering what ATC is, well it’s an Artists Trading Card. These cards are 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and people trade them all around the world.
For my first try at an ATC card, I decided to use a stencil and some embossing paste to make the background for texture. Since the challenge is to use Flowers, I used my Oh So Succulent SU Stamp set and added a little wink of stella on the top of them. I cut out a leave die and added my sentiment by Catherine Pooler. Once I stamped my sentiment I added a little bit of ribbon and rhinestones for a little more bling.
Hope you join along with us and create an ATC card in the challenge. Can’t wait to see what you create!
Summertime is in full swing! (It’s hot) When I think of summer, I think of the beach and the ocean breeze. For this months, Anything Goes with Dies challenge I decided to make a simple birthday card using SU Wetlands Stamp set. I used oval dies to use to create my card. I started off by using my smaller oval die to cut out my whisper white card stock. I sponged by ocean scene by using crumb cake, marina mist and so saffron ink colors. Once I sponge the background, I then stamped the grass and birds to finish my scene. Once completed, I decided that I would use my paper piercer and template to make the card have a little more character. So you will see that I have added the holes above and below the ovals. For my sentiment, I punched out two ovals and stamped the sentiment on the Whisper white card stock. I off centered the night of navy behind it just to give a little more color. My card base is Crumb Cake.
It’s that time of the year again to start thinking about celebrating the 4th of July. I thought why not create something in Red, White & Blue for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I’m not normally into Clean & Simple but wanting to give it a try. Here’s what I came up with.
For this card, I used the following supplies:
SU Whisper White Cardstock, SU Pacific Point Cardstock, SU DSP, 2 toothpicks for my popsicles, SU Dimensionals and SU Cool Treats Stamp Set. Please leave me a comment below and tell me how you celebrate the 4th of July. This year we will be celebrating with family and friends at a cookout.
This month for the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies card, I decided to use a new color called Fresh Fig. It’s a real beautiful Rich purple shade. I wanted to create my own background so I decided to use the Faux Quilted pattern technique. (You score your sheet of paper from corner to corner and move it over 3/4″ and score again.) After scoring I used a dauber to daub each of the score lines on both sides. I then added my dazzling details silver glitter glue. For the flowers, I used the Stampin’ Up! Eastern Elegance thinlit dies and added a circle of silver glitter paper to each center. I popped them up on the card with stampin dimensionals. The Sentiment is by Stampin’ Up! in a set called Flourishing Phrases.

A dear friend of mine Andrea is celebrating her Birthday today. I decided I wanted to use a new set of stamps and inks that were just released to demonstrators this month. The set is called Eastern Palace. The new ink colors were also release to us and gave me a chance to make Andrea a pretty unique card. I used Fresh fig, Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist ink colors to create this card.
Happy Birthday Andrea! I hope this year brings you good health and tons of Happiness!

I’m entering this card in the HLS Anything Goes with Dies Challenge and the Love to Craft Challenge Blog.
Happy April to everyone! Hope your enjoying the Beautiful Spring Weather. I decided this month to make something a little clean and simple. I started off with a stencil that I had purchased from Stamplorations called Rows of Hearts. I took a piece of SU Whisper White card stock and laid my stencil down and started sponging with SU crumb cake ink and then I decided to add another layer with the SU Baked Brown Sugar ink. After I achieved my desired effect. I applied by stenciled layer to a piece of Baked Brown Sugar card stock and then to my Whisper White Card base.
For my sentiment, I cut out one 2″ circle in Whisper White and then added my Sentiment which is from Happy Little Stampers stamp set called Simply Said. I stamped my sentiment in my versa mark and then added SU Copper embossing powder to it. After heat setting it, I then went on a search for a Heart die that I thought would match what I was looking for. I found my Simon Says Stamp Simply sketched heart die. I used Baked Brown Sugar card stock for my heart. I popped my stitched circle with the sentiment and the heart die with stampin dimensionals to pop them up.
Let me know how much you like to use stencils and what is your favorite one in the comment sections below.
I just became a member over at StampNation and the first challenge that I have decided to participate in is called Uniquely Stamped. You are suppose to use a stamp in a different way than what it’s intended for. So for this challenge after several attempts to figure out what I wanted to do I came up with the card below.
I started out by picking my color scheme. I knew I wanted to use Tip Top Taupe and Red. I then used a Catherine Pooler stencil called Mod Squared for my background. After trying different stamp sets and different layouts I decided to use a stamp from my SU Seaside Shore stamp set. I used the sea weed to make my flames behind my sentiment. (SU Bunch of Blossoms stamp set) I colored my flames in with my Zig Carmine Red. I also added a few sequins and added a couple of strokes of my clear Wink of Stella to give some of the flames a little sparkle.
Hope you all have a Wonderful week! Let me know what you think about my take on the uniquely stamped challenge in the comment section below.
