Today I’ve decided to share with you the cards that I have made for my cousins girls. My cousin has 2 sets of twins born on the same day just 2 years apart. She had a boy and girl first and then two girls two years later.
I saw this card done by a team member last Saturday and just loved it. So of course I just had to figure out how to make them. Karen said that she cased it from someone as well.
The cards are a little different from each other so that each twin doesn’t get an identical card. I still need to make Aiden a card and will try to get his done later this week as their birthdays are next week.
This card was made using a 2 1/2 inch circle punch (120906), large oval punch (119855), dress up framelits set (130101), Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (127802), DSP paper, whisper white card stock (100730), pool party card stock (122924) , black buttons, and rhinestones (119246).
My 1st Mojo Monday card. I was so excited to participate in the sketch challenge.
When I saw the sketch, I knew that I wanted to use the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper (126926). I decided that I would use Melon Mambo with the DSP to make the card pop. I used the Petite Pairs Stamp set (122497) to add Happy Birthday Wishes.
This card is very versatile. With a little Designer Series Paper, a solid color, some ribbon and a punch and your good to go. Such an easy project to make.
Here’s the second card that I made for an upcoming bridal shower. I decided to just make the bride on this card. I used the Dress Up Framelit on this card as well. The framelits are wonderful and so easy to use. There are so many possibilities that you can do with this set.
My days of procrastination are hopefully over. I’m finally going to take the plunge and try blogging so that everyone can see what fun I’m having.
Last night, I decided to finally get in my creation zone and make some cards for two upcoming events. The first card I made was for my cousin Jeffrey and his soon to be bride Cindy. I started out by deciding what size card I was going to make and settled with a 5 X 7 card. Then I started going thru my stampin up products. I knew that I wanted to use the Stampin’ UP! dress up framelits to make the dress which you see in the picture.
For this card I used the following products:
Whisper White Card Stock
Pink Pirouette Card Stock
Black Card Stock
Designer Series Paper
Pearl Basic Jewels
Regal Rose Ink
I hope the Bride and Groom enjoy this card as much as I did making it. See you soon! Don’t forget to check out all the New Products including this Dress Up Framelit on my website at http://amyseigler.stampinup.net
