Mojo Monday 303

It’s Mojo time. For this week’s sketch I decided to to use some Holiday products. I figure it’s time for me to start thinking about Christmas cards. So I knew I wanted to the Ornaments Keepsakes and the Sneak Peek DSP paper that will be in the Holiday Catalog.  So this is what I came up with.

MojoMonday303

I love the Gumball green color for Christmas. It’s just so vibrant and makes the Real Red just pop out. I stamped my ornaments on a sheet of white cardstock then cut the sheet to fit my real red background. I use the paper piercing tool to add a little dimension to the two green ornaments and the corners of my white card stock. I used the cherry cobbler baker’s twine to put a bow on my middle ornament and to wrap the card. The two DSP paper’s are from the New Holiday Catalog which will be available to order from on August 1, 2013.

Here’s another picture of the card so that you can see how it looks flat.

Twins Birthday Cards

Today I’ve decided to share with you the cards that I have made for my cousins girls. My cousin has 2 sets of twins born on the same day just 2 years apart. She had a boy and girl first and then two girls two years later.

I saw this card done by a team member last Saturday and just loved it. So of course I just had to figure out how to make them. Karen said that she cased it from someone as well.

The cards are a little different from each other so that each twin doesn’t get an identical card. I still need to make Aiden a card and will try to get his done later this week as their birthdays are next week.

Mojo Monday 298

My 1st Mojo Monday card. I was so excited to participate in the sketch challenge.

When I saw the sketch, I knew that I wanted to use the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper (126926). I decided that I would use Melon Mambo with the DSP to make the card pop.  I used the Petite Pairs Stamp set (122497) to add Happy Birthday Wishes.

This card is very versatile. With a little Designer Series Paper, a solid color, some ribbon and a punch and your good to go. Such an easy project to make.

Bridal Shower Card

Dress

Here’s the second card that I made for an upcoming bridal shower. I decided to just make the bride on this card.  I used the Dress Up Framelit on this card as well. The framelits are wonderful and so easy to use. There are so many possibilities that you can do with this set.
