This month at Happy Little Stampers ATC Challenge you are challenge to make Doodle ATC Cards. This is what I came up with. I haven’t doodled much but really started having fun doodling. I haven’t finished the set but plan on this weekend finishing the 6 that I started with.
There is always someone out there that we could send a little Thank You for Caring card too. Whether it be a friend or family member, everyone needs to hear Thank you every once in a while. It does make them feel good to know that your thinking about how they feel and appreciate them for caring about you. For this months Happy Little Stampers card, I decided to make a card to share with you. This card is simply made by sponging the background with a few different shades of greens and then adding some splatters onto the background to give it more character. I used the splatters from SU Gorgeous Grunge. For the top of the card, I decided to use my SU Flourish Thinlits to cut out the two shapes. I adhered this card base with stampin dimensionals to the top of my sponged/splattered card to make it stand up off of the sponged background. The sentiment is from the SU Label Me Pretty Stamp set and I punched the background for it from the SU Pretty Label Punch. Be sure to play along with Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies Challenge this month, you have a chance of winning a $20 Gift Certificate.
It’s ATC Time over at Happy Little Stampers. Come and join in the challenge to make an ATC or a collection of ATC cards that includes Animals. For this months challenge, I used a new stamp set that came out called This Little Piggy. I thought these pigs were so adorable. The backgrounds were done with my Gelatos and a stencil. Have you used Gelatos before? If so, what’s your favorite way to use them. Please leave me a comment below and let me know.
Have you ever wanted to just play with a product that you’ve purchased some time ago but just couldn’t figure out how you wanted to use it. I found my heart die that I purchased from SSS and wanted to use it. I didn’t want to use it in the traditional way, I wanted my card to more so make a statement. So I made this card for this month’s Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies challenge.
I made this card for my husband to give to his mom. She absolutely loved it!! The colors are her favorites and of course that was the reason I chose them. This is one card that I think she will really treasure.
I would love to know what you think about this project, please leave a comment below and join in the challenge over at Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies challenge.
Here’s a card that I made for one of my classes. I thought this card would be a great way to use stamps, punches and dies.
I’m entering this card into the following challenges:

I’ve decided to take a leap of faith and became a member of the Design Team for the ATC Challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. This is my first time making an ATC card and I’m looking forward to making many more. You may be wondering what ATC is, well it’s an Artists Trading Card. These cards are 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and people trade them all around the world.
For my first try at an ATC card, I decided to use a stencil and some embossing paste to make the background for texture. Since the challenge is to use Flowers, I used my Oh So Succulent SU Stamp set and added a little wink of stella on the top of them. I cut out a leave die and added my sentiment by Catherine Pooler. Once I stamped my sentiment I added a little bit of ribbon and rhinestones for a little more bling.
Hope you join along with us and create an ATC card in the challenge. Can’t wait to see what you create!
Summertime is in full swing! (It’s hot) When I think of summer, I think of the beach and the ocean breeze. For this months, Anything Goes with Dies challenge I decided to make a simple birthday card using SU Wetlands Stamp set. I used oval dies to use to create my card. I started off by using my smaller oval die to cut out my whisper white card stock. I sponged by ocean scene by using crumb cake, marina mist and so saffron ink colors. Once I sponge the background, I then stamped the grass and birds to finish my scene. Once completed, I decided that I would use my paper piercer and template to make the card have a little more character. So you will see that I have added the holes above and below the ovals. For my sentiment, I punched out two ovals and stamped the sentiment on the Whisper white card stock. I off centered the night of navy behind it just to give a little more color. My card base is Crumb Cake.
It’s that time of the year again to start thinking about celebrating the 4th of July. I thought why not create something in Red, White & Blue for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I’m not normally into Clean & Simple but wanting to give it a try. Here’s what I came up with.
For this card, I used the following supplies:
SU Whisper White Cardstock, SU Pacific Point Cardstock, SU DSP, 2 toothpicks for my popsicles, SU Dimensionals and SU Cool Treats Stamp Set. Please leave me a comment below and tell me how you celebrate the 4th of July. This year we will be celebrating with family and friends at a cookout.
This month for the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies card, I decided to use a new color called Fresh Fig. It’s a real beautiful Rich purple shade. I wanted to create my own background so I decided to use the Faux Quilted pattern technique. (You score your sheet of paper from corner to corner and move it over 3/4″ and score again.) After scoring I used a dauber to daub each of the score lines on both sides. I then added my dazzling details silver glitter glue. For the flowers, I used the Stampin’ Up! Eastern Elegance thinlit dies and added a circle of silver glitter paper to each center. I popped them up on the card with stampin dimensionals. The Sentiment is by Stampin’ Up! in a set called Flourishing Phrases.
